“She along with her sister and two more girls were trafficked to Delhi by Montu, an employment agency owner in December last year. All of them are victims of riots in Orissa,” said Madhu Chandra, who runs the Northeast helpline.
Chandra said for six days she was beaten up and molested by Montu.
“Later, she was sent to work as domestic help in a house in Rohini. There she was again subjected to ill-treatment by her employer, Sandeep Kumar, for eight months,” Chandra said.
Chandra claimed that Delhi police are refusing to register a complaint in the matter.
When contacted, Rohini police denied having any information on the incident. Source
