NGO rescues dozen girls from being trafficked
A local NGO in Parsa, Small Hands, on Tuesday reused eight girls from being trafficked to India. Four others were rescued on Monday from Birjung bus park.
According to District Police Office, where the rescued girls are being sheltered at present, they were rescued when they were being taken to India on promise of jobs in other countries, RSS reported today.
Small Hands has been vigilant on the border following a tip-off that traffickers have been using the Birgunj border to take Nepali girls and women to third countries through India. nepalnews.com
